Today I took the motorbike and headed towards Naklua and Wongamat Beach. No real plan, just riding through Pattaya and seeing where I ended up. Those are usually the best moments. No pressure, just moving through the city.
Once I got to Wongamat Beach, everything felt quieter straight away. Compared to central Pattaya, this area has a different pace. Less noise, fewer people, and more space to just walk and think.
I parked the bike and went for a walk along the beach. The sand was clean, the water calm, and there was a light breeze coming in from the sea. It’s one of those places where you don’t need much. Just walking there is enough.
I found a spot to sit for a bit, looking out over the ocean. No phone, no distractions, just watching the water and letting time pass. These are the moments that reset your head a bit.
Along the beach, you see a mix of everything. Locals going for a walk, people relaxing under the trees, and a few small places where you can grab a drink or something to eat. It feels more real here, less focused on tourists.
I stayed longer than planned, which usually means it’s a good spot.
In the end, it was a simple afternoon. Just a ride, a walk, and some time by the sea. Nothing special on paper, but exactly what you need sometimes.
If you’re in Pattaya and want something more relaxed, head to Naklua and Wongamat Beach. Take a walk, don’t rush it, and just enjoy the quiet side of the city.
