A Simple Day in Jomtien and Pattaya. Coffee, Food and Shopping

Today was one of those easy days. No plans, no pressure. Just going out and seeing where the day takes you.

We started in Jomtien, along Beach Road. It’s always a different feeling there compared to Pattaya. Less busy, more space, and a slower pace.

We found a spot for coffee near the beach. Sitting there, with the sea in front of you and a bit of wind coming in, it’s hard to rush anything. You just sit, drink your coffee, and watch what’s happening around you. People walking by, locals setting up for the day, everything moving at its own speed.

After that, we decided to head into Pattaya.

The difference is immediate. More traffic, more people, more energy. It feels like stepping into a different place, even though it’s only a short drive away.

We spent some time walking through one of the shopping malls. Not really looking for anything specific, just walking around. Pattaya malls are always a mix of everything. Clothes, electronics, food, small shops, big brands.

At some point, we came across Bao Pao buns. That turned out to be one of the highlights of the day.

They looked different right away. Nicely shaped, almost too good to eat. We tried a few, both sweet and savory. Soft, warm, and full of flavor. Simple, but really good.

After a few hours, we headed back.

The day ended at home, which honestly is often the best part. Noi cooked, and like always, it didn’t disappoint. Home-cooked Thai food just hits different. You take your time, sit together, and enjoy it properly.

Looking back, it was a simple day. Coffee by the beach, walking through the city, trying something new, and ending with good food at home.

Nothing special on paper, but exactly the kind of day you remember.
