Kai Bae Viewpoint on Koh Chang. One of the Most Beautiful Views in Thailand

Today, Noi and I visited the famous Kai Bae Viewpoint on the west side of Koh Chang, Trat Province, Thailand. This is one of the most popular viewpoints on the island, and after standing there ourselves, it is easy to understand why.

The moment we arrived, the view was incredible. Endless jungle hills rolling down toward the ocean, bright turquoise water, and several small tropical islands spread across the sea. The weather was perfect for photos, with blue skies and soft clouds over the Gulf of Thailand.

From the viewpoint, you can clearly see four small islands:

  • Koh Man Nai
  • Koh Man Nok
  • Koh Pli
  • Koh Yuak

The largest island in front of the viewpoint is Koh Man Nai, covered with dense tropical trees and surrounded by white sandy beaches. During low tide, locals say it is sometimes possible to walk across shallow parts near the island.

The view from Kai Bae Viewpoint feels different from the busy beach areas of Koh Chang. Up there, everything feels peaceful and open. Just jungle, ocean, islands, and fresh sea air.

Noi and I spent time enjoying the scenery, taking photos together, and simply relaxing while looking out over the islands. It is one of those places where photos never fully capture how beautiful it feels in real life.

If you visit Koh Chang, Kai Bae Viewpoint is a place you should not skip. Especially during the daytime or sunset, the panoramic views are absolutely stunning.
