After a long flight, landing in Bangkok always feels like a mix of relief and anticipation. You just want to get through everything and move on.
Passport control took some time, but nothing unusual. Once that was done, there was only one thing left. Seeing Noi again.
Standing there at the airport, everything else disappears for a moment. After being apart, that first moment together makes the whole trip worth it straight away.
After a quick currency exchange, we continued the journey to Pattaya. The bus ride is familiar by now. Leaving Bangkok behind and slowly moving towards the coast.
Once in Pattaya, we stopped for food. Simple, but good. After a long trip, that’s all you need.
The biggest change this time was arriving at Noi’s new place in Naklua. No more condo. Now it’s a house in a local neighborhood. It feels completely different.
Life there is more open. People around, daily life happening outside, more interaction. It gives a better sense of how things actually are here.
Compared to the more isolated condo life, this feels more connected. More real.
That shift stood out immediately. It’s a different way of living, but one that makes sense once you’re there.
By the end of the day, everything slowed down. No big plans, just settling in.
Looking back, it wasn’t a complicated day. Flight, arrival, travel, and getting back into rhythm.
But it’s an important one. It sets the tone for everything that comes next.
